The Odyssey (2026) – Film Review

Arguably the biggest and most ambitious Christopher Nolan film to date does not disappoint. With incredible pace and precision for his already trademarked temporal line jumps throughout the narrative, every action point, which are many, feels earned and grandiloquent enough to entertain the audience. While undoubtedly the film suffers from the popular theme extracted from the Odyssey myth of “the important thing is the journey and not the destination”, making the quieter moments a bit more dragging (although absolutely well placed and required plot-wise) than the actual adventure sections, the result is a movie that is a must in the English filmmaker’s filmography.
